Ryland and I very much appreciate the efforts you put into the pictures you made for us a few weeks ago. You really did contribute to making that weekend awesome for us. I apologize for the delay, school has been eating up my time lately. I hope you enjoy this as much we did your picture (:

Character is *SilverDeni's
Art is mine

Wow, you are really talented! You have a great style and I really like how you colour (: This looks great without the no line art. Very cool (: Love all the details and the "atmosphere" of this drawing. Lovely artwork and cute charachter :3

Woah, this is amazing!!
I love the brushes and textures you used on the tree trunks, they look amazing!
Might I ask what brushes you used on the trees?
Sorry to be a bother!

Thank you :)
In this picture I only used the tapered brush of various sizes. I frequently changed the opacity and played with colors, so all the trees were on the same layer. There was one brush I used on the blue-ish tree that was just labeled as paintbrush to get streaks. I hope that helped some...I'm bad at explaining things :p

This has a really nice level of detail. I also think it serves as an introduction to your developing and expanding personal style. I mean, when I saw this, I thought it was reminiscent of other works you've done before. But thinking further, I realized that it also looked fully distinct from any other artist's work, and speaks for itself, in a very positive way, about your developing skills. I like the patches of grass in a certain color showing where light is distributed. It's also nice to see how the shading works on the fur as well as the clothing. The high detail on the leaves contrasts nicely with the more symbolic, aesthetic trees in the background, which have an appropriate lower level of detail in the distance.

Overall, I'm impressed, and I think this is one of your best yet.
